NDIS providers
FOR NDIS PROVIDERS
Wages go up. Prices don’t.
Award increases lift your wage bill, while NDIS price limits and plan-managed payments move on their own timetable. We look at your roster, your claims and your payment times, and we will tell you if borrowing is not the right answer.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Your costs move faster than your payments.
Another award increase is coming. Scheduled SCHADS increases apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 December 2026.
Price limits don’t move in step. Your hourly cost goes up before your price limit does.
Plan-managed invoices can be slow. Some plan managers take weeks to pay.
Growth means hiring first. New participants need staff rostered before the claims come in.
The margin on each shift is getting thinner. When wages rise and price limits don’t, every rostered hour earns a little less.
Borrowing won’t fix a loss-making roster. Funding helps with a timing gap. It doesn’t fix a shift that costs more than it earns, and we’ll say so.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE
A rise in wages before a rise in prices
Illustrative scenario
A growing support provider sees its wage bill rise with the award, while several plan managers pay in three to four weeks. The owner wants to keep taking on participants. After looking at the numbers, the broker suggests a modest facility sized to the claim gap, plus a hard look at the slowest payers first, rather than a large loan. Illustrative example only, not a real client. Every business is assessed on its own circumstances and lender criteria.
QUESTIONS
Common questions
Should an NDIS provider borrow to cover wages?
Not always. If the gap comes from pricing that does not cover costs, borrowing can make it worse. We look at your claims, payment times and margins first, and we will tell you if funding is not the right answer.
What is changing with SCHADS wages?
Scheduled SCHADS award increases apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 December 2026. Check the Fair Work Commission decision and your award for the rates that apply to your staff.
What do I need to have ready?
Usually your ABN, NDIS registration details, recent claims and payment history, recent business account statements and ID for the directors. Your broker confirms the list.
How do we know if borrowing makes sense?
We check three things: do your rosters still work at the new rates, is your margin positive, and is this a short timing gap. If borrowing won’t help, we’ll tell you straight.
Can a short-term facility buy us time?
Sometimes. A short facility can cover payroll while you re-roster or renegotiate. It works best when there’s a clear plan to close the gap.
What does it cost and how do you get paid?
Costs depend on the lender, the product and your business. Your broker explains every fee and cost before you decide. We may be paid a commission by the lender or charge a fee, and we tell you before you apply. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
Tell us what’s going on.
A short call is usually enough to see whether funding could help now, and how it could be set up for what comes next. No obligation. Business purposes only. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
