Cash flow and invoice finance
CASH FLOW FINANCE
The work is done. The money is still on its way.
Wages, suppliers and tax bills don’t wait for your clients to pay. We look at what is holding up your cash, then structure funding around your invoices, claims or seasons, across major, non-major and private lenders.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Cash flow problems rarely look the same twice.
Wages before the client pays.
Payroll weekly, clients on 30 to 45 day terms.
One big invoice, a long wait.
60 to 120 day terms from your biggest client.
Pay the supplier before you sell.
Deposits due months before the stock lands.
A tax bill in a quiet month.
BAS or an ATO payment plan landing at the wrong time.
The ATO plan is costing more.
ATO interest is no longer tax deductible, so a payment plan can cost more than it looks.
New ABN, signed contracts.
You’ve won the work, but many lenders want two years of trading.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE
Growth that outran the cash in the account
Illustrative scenario
A services business doubles its revenue in a year. Its biggest clients pay in 45 to 60 days, and the overdraft keeps hitting its limit before payday. The owner talks through funding linked to its invoices, so cash grows with sales instead of lagging behind them. Illustrative example only, not a real client. Every business is assessed on its own circumstances and lender criteria.
QUESTIONS
Common questions
What is invoice finance?
A lender advances money against invoices you have issued, so you are not waiting for clients to pay. Some products fund your whole ledger, some fund a single invoice.
Does my client find out?
It depends on the product. Some are confidential and some notify your client. Your broker explains before you choose.
Can you help if we have an ATO debt?
Sometimes. Some lenders will consider businesses with an ATO debt or payment plan. It depends on the amount, the plan and your history.
We’re a new business with signed contracts. Can you help?
Possibly. Some lenders look at signed contracts and your clients’ strength rather than years of trading. Options are more limited, and it is subject to lender criteria.
Our existing lender holds security over everything. Can we add another facility?
Sometimes. It may need the existing lender’s consent, or a structure that works alongside it. We check before you apply.
What does it cost and how do you get paid?
Costs depend on the lender, the product and your business. Your broker explains every fee and cost before you decide. We may be paid a commission by the lender or charge a fee, and we tell you before you apply. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
Tell us what’s going on.
A short call is usually enough to see whether funding could help now, and how it could be set up for what comes next. No obligation. Business purposes only. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
