FOR RECRUITMENT AGENCIES
Your temps get paid on Friday. Your clients pay next month.
Every placement you add makes the payroll bigger before the invoice is paid. We look at your contractor book, your clients and your terms, then find funding that keeps temp payroll on track while you grow.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
More placements. More payroll. Same slow clients.
Temps are paid every Friday. Clients pay on 30 day terms, and some take longer.
Super now goes with every pay run. Payday Super applies from 1 July 2026.
Growth costs cash first. A new client with 20 temps is great news and a bigger weekly bill.
Perm fees are lumpy. A good month of placements does not always land in the month you need it.
Timesheets approved Friday. Paid in 45 days. Six temps start Monday on 45 day terms. That is six weeks of wages before the first payment lands.
Plenty of lenders won’t look at a new agency. Many want years of trading. Some will consider a newer agency with good clients and approved timesheets.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE
A new client, 25 more temps
Illustrative scenario
A small agency signs a warehouse client that needs 25 temps for peak season, on 30 day terms. The weekly payroll jumps well before the first invoice is due. The director talks through funding against that client’s invoices so payroll is covered from the first week, then reviews it when the season ends. Illustrative example only, not a real client. Every business is assessed on its own circumstances and lender criteria.
QUESTIONS
Common questions
How does funding work for a recruitment agency?
A lender advances money against the invoices you raise for temp and contract hours, so you can pay your people on time while your clients pay on their usual terms. Your broker explains the limits, the costs and how clients are notified, if at all.
Can it grow as we place more temps?
Some facilities grow with your debtor book, subject to lender approval. Your broker looks at how quickly you are growing and which clients you work with.
What do I need to have ready?
Usually your ABN, an aged debtors list, recent business account statements, details of your main clients and ID for the directors. Your broker confirms the list.
We’re a new agency. Can we still get funding?
Possibly. Some lenders look at newer agencies, especially with creditworthy clients and approved timesheets. Options are more limited than for an established agency.
Can perm placement fees be funded?
Some lenders fund perm placement invoices as well as temp billing; others only fund temp invoices. We check which suits your mix.
Can funding link to our timesheet system?
Some lenders connect with common timesheet and accounting systems, so approved timesheets can flow through with less paperwork. It depends on the lender and your setup.
What does it cost and how do you get paid?
Costs depend on the lender, the product and your business. Your broker explains every fee and cost before you decide. We may be paid a commission by the lender or charge a fee, and we tell you before you apply. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
