Mining services
FOR MINING SERVICES
You grew. Your 7-day terms may not have.
Some large miners pay small suppliers in 7 days. Grow past their small-supplier threshold and terms can move out to 30 days or more, right when your payroll and fleet are biggest. We help you fund the change.
✓
Funding against invoices to tier-one clients
✓

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Growth changed your payment terms.
Your terms changed overnight. 7-day terms can move to 30 days or longer as you grow.
FIFO payroll doesn’t wait. Crews, flights and accommodation are paid up front.
The fleet keeps growing. New contracts need more gear on site.
Cash is tied up in big clients. Strong clients, slow money.
You invoice the contractor, not the miner. Many suppliers work for tier-one contractors, whose payment terms can be longer than the miner’s.
Fuel goes out every day. Fuel, wages and parts are daily costs. Payment runs are monthly at best.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE
Outgrowing small-supplier terms
Illustrative scenario
A maintenance contractor grows past a miner’s small-supplier threshold, and its terms move from 7 days to 30. Payroll for a FIFO crew is due every fortnight. The owner talks through invoice funding against that client, sized to the gap the new terms create. Illustrative example only, not a real client. Every business is assessed on its own circumstances and lender criteria.
QUESTIONS
Common questions
Why did my payment terms change?
Many large miners pay small businesses faster under supplier payment codes. Once your turnover passes their threshold, standard terms of 30 days or more can apply. Check your supply agreement.
Can I fund invoices to a tier-one miner?
Some lenders fund invoices to large, well-known clients, subject to approval. It depends on the contract, the client and your business.
What do I need to have ready?
Usually your ABN, an aged debtors list, your supply agreements, recent business account statements and ID for the directors. Your broker confirms the list.
We invoice a tier-one contractor, not the miner. Does that work?
Often, yes. Lenders look at who pays your invoices, and large contractors can be strong payers.
Can I raise cash against equipment I already own?
Sometimes. Some lenders will lend against paid-off trucks or yellow gear to free up working capital.
What does it cost and how do you get paid?
Costs depend on the lender, the product and your business. Your broker explains every fee and cost before you decide. We may be paid a commission by the lender or charge a fee, and we tell you before you apply. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
Tell us what’s going on.
A short call is usually enough to see whether funding could help now, and how it could be set up for what comes next. No obligation. Business purposes only. Subject to lender approval; fees and terms apply.
